burnt! Spacepop 2000
burnt! Spacepop was the compilation of Space girl Z and Christian V at the
turn of the century with 6 finished tracks. Touring for nearly 2 years and
playing from Philadelphia's Silk City lounge debut all the way to Breckenridge
Colorado. Continuing to play "live" as "the only electronic duo in the four
corner states" ~Covering artists such as Madonna, Michael Jackson and the
Beetles, burnt! put together spacepop to inspire dignity, dance and most of all,
fun! Also includes samples from the late Lili J.F.
Break away ideas on this album are the
track
technopera-a 15 minute sonic story of a day in the life of "burnt!"
(Subspace)Sandbar-came together as an smooth acid jazz tune and was aired on
FM radio for quite some time (even now) being fans of sci-fi ; the lyrics take
us on a journey that got quite stuck on an unseen anomaly
Dont Ask, Don't tell-a brainstorm ultra mix using multiple backing
vocals and 5.1 surround sound mixing software to convey the warmth of emotion
surrounding the argument of lyrics.
911 ~ Bee
bop Space Pop-It was based on an idea that falling in love was an emergency to
ones emotions and reason and emergency services should be called in case you
ever came across that feeling
Also included is the popular but controversial song
Germany-always
highly requested at live sets, but turned away by some for the pervasive
language and suggestive content involved in it's lyrics. (Do ask how it's
idea came to be)
Sink or
Swim -A trip hop track straight forward dance that wants you to win!
Burnt! Spacepop 2000 is
suggested for play
in a television series as backround, ambience at an art show or liberally as a remix or with some down
tempo "chic" lounge type of folks.

- Burntsystems Simplicity 2003

burntsystems Simplicity was released in 2003 on mp3.com
It included many acid jazz and trip hop tracks compiled by the artist
and producer Christian V. (Who produced the last album "burnt spacepop 2000)
Unlike the last album that only portrayed one female vocalist-Guest
artists were involved to generate samples on the fly that "fleshed out" the
mostly chopped and pasted loops created by the many machines of burntsystems.
Hence the album name.
Some very interesting tracks to be heard are:
Whatthaf***isgoingon?
A classic trip hop track smashed free of
explicatives but leaning greatly towards to obvious. During it's initial
creation, our local law enforcement showed up to see what the noise was all
about and are now immortalized in the depth of samples on this track "
lil'party going on?"
My medicine 4u is an ambient trip pop track with samples contained from
a good friend "Poopie Paul" who plays guitar and sings on this track. The mix
that came out of this impressed him greatly and if you wait until near the
end it's tempo and "break down" is very impressive.
230 Dew Dews is a techno track that came quite by accident. A sample
that was thought trashed by vicious software manipulation suddenly found
it's way back to life in this train wreck of a track. One dew became many
more.
burntsystems Simplicity 2003 is
suggested for play at dance
parties-especially those that involve competitive dancing-as backround for
chase scenes that go awry and Product placement ads including new technology
- Burntsystems DVD 2005
-
This was a compilation for ideas and media of burntsystems
creations over the years. It came in with 4 distinct and different values,
each with a custom menu and the media always varied. Some rare copies
included specially created music videos from Jessica J. and many visual
"acid trips" of kaleidoscopic images detailing the rhythms of the track
bouncing along to it. Animations and a history of burntsystems were also
included. (Take a look at the video page-here)
Tracks like
Bromeando-"The Joke" where loops from a beat box session compiled
together and formed a wicked track.
There are also remixed versions of
songs from spacepop 2000-such as
"germix" -based on the popular live song
"germany" OR the remix of the trance/dub mix of
"don't ask, don't tell" appropriately named
"don'tmix"
Also included were some rare
gems from the after gig culminations-such as
"granpa 71"-with Shanna G. mc blu and Christian V.
singing and playing about granpa-he's 5 foot wide and
ten feet tall-and oh shit when granpa falls! Mc Blu and Christian V. put
together yet another jam-aptly named
"DJEZDik"-machines from burntsystems and vox from mc blu.
Another strange story about the
"Blue Ridge Banshee"-was hoohah on the hoohah-A river song remix from
Johny Johnson and Christian V. with the banshee as back up!

A new and exciting vision from the minds and machines of burntsystems.
-
The idea of the of the daffodil
revelation was the "pure flower" of sorts being trampled on for it's
beauty, it's numbers, in spite, whatever and sprouting anew. Guest star
Norton Axe* on 2 trax *Queen of Burnt Republic-A prequel of the original
1990 song from Burnt Republic released on cassette tape. The song Gothic
girl (come dance with me) is a special little electro dance song for all
those wall vamps out there (alike myself at one time) wanting that dance
with the gothic girl of their choice. The Zipper to your heart track came to
life 1st when megabite (our drummer) was in a fussy mood but gave special
character to the song and later helped to "open" the zipper to her
heart. Daffodils revelation is the title track and quite an electroclash
pounder with a Juiced box chorus. My mind wanders to any number of frisky
thoughts on this track. If I were gay is a silly little "gay" track that
came from a "bromosexual" convo. with an old friend of mine. "you know if I
were gay, You'd be my girlfriend..." The Daffodil Intervention is the 1st
album of Burntsystems SOLELY produced and compiled in the lab known as
burntsystems with Christian V. on Vox/Lyrix-copywritten 2009-have a BIG
ENJOY!
